Forward Facing CCTV is an important product within our portfolio.

Linking effortlessly with the existing on-board system and available in either standard or high definition resolution, our Forward Facing CCTV solution is designed to match the harsh environment of rolling stock applications. Based on fully digital IP technology, it provides a high quality driver-eye view of the leading track and infrastructure, and can assist in the investigation of operational incidents and issues including:

  • Signal Passed at Danger (SPAD) providing a confirmation of the signal position that the driver has observed.
  • Suicides and other fatalities - providing the evidence for railway operations to resume quickly.
  • Trespass, graffiti and stone throwing
  • Trackside litter and vegetation surveys
  • Equipment and materials left by the track
